Version 2.0 of the previous ADDY 4-bearing engine housing, which forms the engine block for a Puch moped / moped with E50 engine.
New with rod mount, milled instead of cast overflow channels and a less deep cast recess for GME systems so that the housing can also be spindled on for large cylinders with a throat diameter of up to 58 mm. In addition, the serial number has been moved so that it can now be found on the right-hand side. This means you can knock the frame number into the top of the flange as required.
The housing was designed and manufactured specifically for the tuning sector, so some components such as the flat flange for mounting a kick starter have been omitted.
The case has the following special features:
- Enlarged sealing surface in the area of the cylinder base
- Slightly outwardly offset housing bolts, leaving more space for a larger cylinder base;for larger overflow ducts
- Pre-prepared milling surface for GME intake systems
- Fit pins for secure positioning during assembly;for secure positioning when assembling the casing halves
- Additional threads for more flexible ignition assembly
- Extra-large cooling fins in the lower area for better temperature dissipation and thus reduced wear on the crankshaft bearings
- Stud mount, 3 pcs. M6 thread at the original spacing
- Approved in all SAM moped racing and moped cross categories
- Perforated cylinder studs: 44 x 44 mm
- Ø cylinder neck: 48.4 mm (can be spindled up to 58.0 mm if no GME is installed)
Installation tips:
- When installing original intake components and an SRE carburettor, an intake gasket at least 2 mm thick must be used so that the float chamber does not stand up on the GME block.
- With the help of the supplied shims, various gearboxes with different positions, such as those of the 3-bearing or MBR gearboxes, can be cleanly spaced out. Before reassembly, be sure to check that the gear wheel is properly centered!
- The following screw lengths should be used: 7 pcs. M6 x 35 mm / 6 pcs. M6 x 50 mm
